Op Amps

Op Amps have taught me a very interesting concept. The concept that negative feedback can be very good. Negative feedback is used to control, stabilize and control the output. Mainly its useful because the op amp has such a high gain. In our society there is always negative feedback and we consider them mostly harmful and not great thing to have. But it seems like there can be systems that can be very good with negative feedback. It can be used to control spread of information and diffusion.

Comfort Zone and Development

It is very tempting for people to settle somewhere and be very comfortable. However, this creates a closedness and hinders change. This also creates divide and segregation. It also creates a wall around your own world. In order to naturally allow people to move out of comfort zone and continually develop and change, there must be an incentive to make that move. If such incentive is given, people can continually move from a state to the next. This not only creates development, but also bridging and understanding.

Viscious cycles are due to complex network of interconnected events, things, phenomena. By understanding the behavior of complex networks we can advance a step towards understanding epidemics and eventually viscious cycles. Vicious Cycle Initiative

There are many vicious cycles that may happen in various different kinds of networked entities such as social relationships, nature's food chain, weather, economy, business, and financial world. I am exploring the possible causes of vicious cycle, how they could be prevented, how they can be ameliorated in a cycle and how to recover from these vicious cycles. There could also be ways of making this vicious cycle produce something good instead of viscious.

Creating Virtuous Cycles

This is an effort to create virtuous cycles in our lives that can create continuous cycles of well being, goodness, growth, love and abundance. It is an attempt to find solutions to vicious cycles and potentially replace them with a virtuous cycle.
